Hey guys, quick question. I just won an auction on a tractor from ClearLotAuctions.com and I wanted to ask if anyone here has dealt with their transport service.

It’s a John Deere 5075E, 2018 model, and I saw they offer delivery straight to the buyer. How smooth is the process usually? Do they handle everything or do I need to arrange pickup details myself?

Congrats Mike. I bought a Kubota L4701 through them last year.

Transport was actually pretty easy. Once I paid, they coordinated everything. I didn’t have to chase down a carrier or anything. Tractor showed up about 6 days later on a flatbed. No damage, paperwork was already attached.

Only thing is — they don’t always give super exact delivery times until the truck is already moving.

I’ll back that up. I bought a Case IH Maxxum 110 (2016) from them.

Transport was handled by ClearLotAuctions.com’s partner carrier. I liked that I could track it once it left the yard. Took about a week to get to Oklahoma.

One tip: make sure your contact number is correct, because the driver only called me the morning of delivery.

I’ve used them twice now — both times went fine.

First was a New Holland T4.75, second was a John Deere 5085E. Both shipped through their system.

Honestly, the biggest advantage is you don’t have to deal with outside freight quotes. Pricing was already included when I checked out.

Only downside: if you’re in a rural area, sometimes they drop it at a nearby yard instead of your exact location.

Got it, that actually clears things up a lot. Appreciate all the info guys.

Last question — would you say Clear Lot Auctions is reliable overall, or just “good enough” for tractor auctions?

I’d call them reliable. Not perfect, but solid. I’ve had zero issues with paperwork or delivery.

For auction buying, that’s already above average.

Same opinion here. They’re not fancy, but they get the job done without headaches.

If the price is right on the tractor, I’d use them again.

Perfect, thanks everyone. Sounds like I made a good choice.
